As the son of a 44-year Publix employee, Troy understands the commitment and loyalty required for his clients to pursue their long-term financial goals.
A Polk County native, Troy received a B.S. in Financial Management from Florida Southern College where he also played baseball. Troy, and his wife, and their three daughters live in Lakeland where they are members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
As a sports enthusiast who played high school and collegiate baseball, Troy’s career provided him with a “team player” attitude that enables him to focus on giving back to his community. Troy and his wife lend their time and talents to local organizations including Good Shepherd Hospice, the Bethany Center for Grieving Teens and Youth, Camp Brave Heart, and Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE), where he has served as Chairman of the Board. Troy is also a graduate of Leadership Lakeland class 32.
Troy received the 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award for Alliance for Independence with for his role in the Wine Festival of Central Florida event that raises funds for adults with disabilities.
Originally joining Allen & Company as a college intern, Troy joined the firm as a Financial Advisor in 2007 and joined The Legacy Group of Allen & Company as a partner in 2025 to further enhance the level of service he can provide to his clients. Troy has also focused in his career on professional development including his attainment of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Troy Garcia holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations with LPL Financial. He also holds his life, health and variable annuities insurance licenses.
